Deadline Extended for Applications
PORT ORCHARD
Port Orchard Mayor Kim Abel has extended the deadline for applicants who want to be on the city planning commission to replace Fred Chang, who will become a City Council member in 2006.
Applications will be accepted until Dec. 30, an additional two weeks from the original date.
Three people have applied so far, a city staffer said.
